When a factual error is identified, GuardPI reviews the original source, checks current primary evidence, corrects the affected passage, and updates related material where necessary.
Corrections and updates
If GuardPI identifies a factual error, outdated insurer feature or misleading explanation, the underlying page should be corrected and its source review refreshed. Readers can use the Contact page to flag a possible issue and should identify the article and the specific statement that needs review.
Company and comparison pages are placed on a shorter review cycle than general Guides. The issued policy, endorsements and applicable law remain controlling when a current contract differs from a general GuardPI explanation.
